This workshop is designed to provide you with the information, exercises and techniques necessary to transform your committed relationship into the passionate and exciting experience you both desire.

Couples and Sexual Intimacy is based on the Hot MonogamyTM program created by Dr. Pat Love and Kathleen McFadden.

Is This Workshop Appropriate For Me?
This workshop is intended for heterosexual couples in a committed love relationship where both partners are medically able to experience a sexual relationship. We will gather together for lectures, followed by private time for personal exploration and sharing. Participants are not required to share with the group. Your safety and confidentiality will be maintained throughout the weekend. Although we show movie clips to support topics in our lectures, no movie clip contains sexually explicit images.


What Does This Workshop Format Include?

  • Lectures, supported visually with the latest in presentation graphics, about the purpose and dynamics of your relationship.
  • One demonstration of communication skills.
  • Practicing new behaviors and skills with your partner. While this workshop is conducted in a group environment you are not required to participate in personal group interaction. You may share as much or as little about yourself as you feel comfortable.  The only time we ask you to say something about yourself is during the "icebreaker" at the beginning of Day One.  This is not group therapy. You share only with your partner in a safe, comfortable and confidential manner.

Registration Information And Hotel Recommendation:

Early registration assures attendance. To register, click the "Pay Now" button under the workshop date that you wish to attend.  After you submit your registration, you may proceed to Step 2 and click the 'Pay Now" button. You will be directed to the secure website, PayPal, to pay for the course using your credit or debit card. You do not need to be a member of PayPal to make a payment. Arrange your travel plans to attend the entire workshop. Dress is casual and comfortable and a sweater is suggested as room temperatures vary. You may also consider bringing a pillow for added comfort. It's important not to allow family or business matters to interrupt you once the workshop begins. We encourage you to stay at a local hotel on Saturday night to maintain focus and avoid distractions. The closest hotel to our office (walking distance) is the Hyatt House, 925.743.1882.


What Is The Cost?

The workshop fee is $627.00 per couple. The cost includes tuition, workbooks, and refreshments.  Lunch is on your own each day.


What Is The Cancellation Policy?

If you cancel four (4) days or more prior to the workshop, you receive a refund less a $100.00 administrative fee. You may transfer once for a $100.00 fee. If you cancel three (3) days or less prior to the workshop, you will receive a refund minus $200.00 administrative fee. Your registration (without cancellation) is nonrefundable if you do not attend or do not complete the workshop. The presenter(s) is not responsible for prepaid, nonrefundable travel arrangements. If the presenter cancels the workshop, a full refund will be made.


CEU Hours For Mental Health Professionals:

This Course meets the qualifications for 16 hours of Continuing Education Units for MFT's and LCSW's as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.  Ralph Butcher PCE4416 and Mindy McHugh PCE4417.  The fee to receive a CEU Certificate is $25.  Click Here to pre-order and pay for your Certificate.  This step must be completed prior to the workshop.
